Thank you Vortex!
A bitter sweet end, but new beginnings. I am moving on and so is Vortex. I am leaving the northwest to continue chasing my photography dreams in Kansas City, MO and Vortex has a new editor, Blake Hickman. I am so grateful to have been a part of the Vortex photography team for 2 years. I got to photograph my favorite artists within a variety of genres. I love music and was always wanted to attend concerts, but found it to be difficult as a regular concert goer. I found that I had greater flexibility and options going solo with my camera. I am thankful that Vortex trusted my eye and allowed me to live my dreams and grow. I am very proud of the photos that I took and the artists that I met. Vortex gave me the perfect foundation to empower myself, build confidence, explore my creativity and challenge my fears. I wouldn't be able to make the move to Missouri without Vortex's support. I hope to join up with a publication at my new home and continue to photograph the artists that I enjoy so much. There's not enough gratitude that I can express for Vortex as they helped me in more ways then just through concerts. I am forever grateful for the opportunity and encourage anyone who loves music, but is musically inclined to pursue concert photography. Thank you Vortex!
