Mickey Avalon at Dantes Portland

Mickey Avalon, Vocab Slick and Sincere God Magnetic with DJ True Justice. No prudes at this show! A swanky, sweaty, sold out and definitely unsanitary time at the NW's historic strip club, Dante's. Kicking off the night was Portland native and hip hop OG, Sincere. I have been taking his pics for over a decade and it's always nice to follow artists from stage to stage. Same goes for Vocab Slick. He's one of the original bay area artists that I first met when I started my concert photography journey. Alas, the headliner, Mickey Avalon. This was my first experience and it was quite the show filled with lots of tease and awkward desire. Mickey is a great human and definitely living the dream on stage. Off stage, he's so humble and paints abstract, Picasso like art.
